What is checked for dryer repair in Centrepointe
Dryer diagnosis begins with airflow and operating temperature because restricted venting can create long cycles, repeated thermal-fuse failures, excess heat, and a burning smell. For electric dryers, we then test the heating circuit, followed by thermostats, sensors, drum drive parts, and electronic controls. The exact sequence depends on whether the dryer has no heat, intermittent heat, no tumble, unusual noise, or a cycle that ends too soon.

Before the visit and repair decision
Note whether the drum turns, whether heat is absent or intermittent, the cycle used, and how long a normal load takes to dry. A running dryer can still have a supply, airflow, heater, sensor, or control fault. Stop using it if you notice a burning smell or unusual heat; leave electrical checks to the technician.
