Protect your food when the fridge stops cooling

How the symptom is diagnosed
The same symptom can have very different causes. A warm fresh-food section with a cold freezer may indicate blocked airflow, a fan, damper, frost, or defrost problem. Both sections warming can involve power, controls, compressor starting, fans, condenser conditions, or the sealed system. Temperature readings and operating behaviour are more useful than replacing parts based on one symptom alone.
